Tekin... Again, and Kinder Eggs

Just a couple quick notes. We ate at Tekin again. I got the Doner Kebab in a pita with fries and garlic sauce. It was sooo good! The guy is just awesome! He is so chatty, answering all my questions about "What's this? What's that?" He told us he was born in Germany and that he speak many languages. He gave us advice on the best place to get Turkish stuff in Koln and that the best of everything is made in South Germany. He is just such a friendly guy, and he makes great food! Adam and Rachael got another pizza, this one with salami and rainbow peppers. Looks good. I might have the leftovers tomorrow. And dear, sweet Rachael. You gotta love her. She's a 'dipper.' Whether it's ketchup or syrup, she loves to dip food and fingers into it and lick it all off. Well, we got frittes again, with mayo, and we just couldn't stop her from dipping her fingers in and licking it off. Her face and hands were covered with mayo. She eventually started licking it straight out of the cup. We tried to stop her, but she was relentless. So, gross!!  After too much of this, it was time to leave, thankfully!

On the way home we stopped at a Nachwinkle just to see what they have. They're like mini- grocery, liquor, convenience stores with jacked up prices. Still, if you need it in a pinch, they've got cat litter for sale at 1 am=) We bought some ice cream, a Mars bar (which is more like an American Milky Way), and a Kinder egg.  My friend Beth who spent some time in Europe says she really misses these and is upset that we can't get them in the United States because they have a 'non-nutritive item' in them. Dumb! It's in a capsule. No kid is going to eat the capsule! Anyways, we opened it up, got in to the capsule, and found a tiny, tiny puzzle. Get this!... The picture is a Looney Tunes cartoon with Bugs, Taz, and Daffy! Cool!
